Summer CAmp cancellation policy

We strive to maintain high-quality programming with dynamic groups and low teacher-to-student ratios. When you register, we hold your spot, form small groups, and plan ‘right size’ activities for the group in which we place your child.

 

Cancellation Policy

 If you need to cancel, please email education@mountainrootsfoodproject.org.

Cancellation of Summer Camps - Full week

  • Prior to April 15: 100% refund (minus $25 fee)

  • April 15 to May 31: 50% refund

  • June 1 and after: no refund.

Individual Health-Related Cancellation 

  • In the event of a last-minute cancellation due to long-term illness or injury, please email education@mountainrootsfoodproject.org as soon as possible.

Waitlist Protocol

When a particular summer camp is full, you can join the waitlist. The waitlist will automatically email you if a spot opens up in a camp and you can go to HiSawyer and register for that camp. You can also enter your phone number if you would like a text when a spot becomes available. 

The waitlist feature does not automatically enroll customers off the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, the camp director will then email an invitation to register from HiSawyer and call that person on the waitlist. That person will have 24 hours to take the spot; if not enrolled, the director will then move to the next person on the waitlist - email and call - wait 24 hours, and so on down the list.
