Summer CAmp cancellation policy

We strive to maintain high-quality programming with dynamic groups and low teacher-to-student ratios. When you register, we hold your spot, form small groups, and plan ‘right size’ activities for the group in which we place your child.

General Refunds / Credits

More than 7 days notice       full refund or credit for rescheduling

5-7 days notice                     50% refund or credit for rescheduling

48 hours or less                      we are unable to offer refunds or credits, except for illness and medical or family emergencies

COVID-19 Cancellations

We remain cautiously optimistic that we will be able to conduct our camps safely and in compliance with state and county public health guidelines. If a federal, state, or local health authority determines that camps be closed, either for the entire summer or specific camp sessions because of COVID-19, the following options are available for your camp fees. We hope these options convey our desire to support our community while also providing opportunities for those who are invested in supporting the mission and longevity of our programming. If it is in your means to do so, please consider converting your camp fees into a tax-deductible donation. You will help us weather the impacts of COVID-19, maintain our scholarship fund, expand opportunities for kids whose families have been significantly impacted by the pandemic, and increase our ability to meet year-round operating costs.

· Full refund
· Credit for future program for any family member

There’s a chance that we may need to adjust the total number of participants attending camp or make changes to our participation policies due to COVID-19 and related changes in public health guidelines. It is important that camp families open and read emails from us so you can stay up to date on these changes. We will maintain frequent communication with all of our camp families throughout the summer as conditions change. In making these modifications to our standard refund policy, Mountain Roots appreciates that the concerns created by the COVID-19 outbreak are beyond anyone’s control and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
