2023 Soup share

 

Our winter soup share ran from February 24th - March 31st. Weekly deliveries were made right to the front doors of homes all over the Gunnison Valley. These delicious hand crafted soups featured in-season ingredients. Vegetarian soups included Carrot & Potato Curry, Super Green Vegetable Soup, Carrot & Ginger Bisque and more! Meat soups included Sausage & Lentil Stew, Chicken Curry Soup, and Moroccan Lamb Stew.

About SOUP SHARE

Our homemade soups and stocks are local, fresh, seasonal, and delicious. We’re using local and organically grown farm fresh produce and locally raised pastured meats from our own farm and neighboring farms. We handcraft small batches that highlight the flavors of the season, so you’ll get a nice variety of soup flavors as we go through the share. We’re meticulous about using only the best, high-quality ingredients, starting with our own homemade stocks and broths, and meticulous soups are slowly simmered with care to give you great-tasting, nutritious soups that feed your soul. Soups come ready to heat and serve (no preservatives), and will also freeze well for later use.

 

 

How does the Soup Share work?

  • One subscription = one quart of soup each week for the duration of the season. One quart is approximately 2 servings as a soup, more if you’re turning the soup into a meal by ladling it over rice, quinoa, or noodles. If you want two quarts each week, you would order 2 subscriptions.

  • Choose from Vegetarian or Meat Share

  • Add on a loaf of Artisan Bread for a weekly loaf

  • Deliveries

    • All soups will be delivered right to your front door! All houses qualify for delivery within the Gunnison Valley.

    • Home Delivery Friday afternoons $4/week ($24 total)

Our kitchen creatives are currently crafting the winter flavors. We invite you to subscribe now, trusting that you’ll enjoy some old favorites and discover some new ones, too! We will always share the soups we have planned for each week and the ingredients ahead of time. If you need to make an occasional substitution due to allergies or dietary restrictions, we will work with you. Please enter all allergies/dietary restrictions when filling out the registration form.

Sample vegetarian soup flavors from past soup shares include: Roasted Cauliflower Curry; Potato-Kale-Leek, Shiitake and Swiss Chard Soup with Long Noodles, Carrot Ginger Bisque, Tomato and Zucchini Minestrone, Lentil and Butternut Squash, and more.

Sample meat-based soup flavors from past soup shares include: Hearty Beef Stew, Chicken & Dumplings, Posole Rojo, Classic French Onion, Chicken Corn Chowder, Pasta Fagioli, Sausage-Kale-White Bean, and more.
