A Partnership with Build.Sow.Grow
Our partnership with Build.Sow.Grow Greenhouse allows our agriculture program to start vegetable crops from seed and provides instrumental greenhouse space for getting an early start on vegetable production at our community farms. Seedlings raised at Build.Sow.Grow go into our multi-farmer CSA and help us provide a food resource for the Gunnison Valley. Build.Sow.Grow is custom designed for optimal growing conditions and efficient energy use in the extreme climate of the Gunnison Valley. Build.Sow.Grow utilizes climate battery technology, passive solar design, clay straw solar mass to create the perfect greenhouse climate conditions for seedlings. The owner Dustin Kujawski is passionate about sustainable building solutions and continues to support Mountain Roots in cultivating our local food system.
