PERFECT DAYS

Cold Climate Growing Technology

Because our high desert alpine environment of the Gunnison Valley has just 55 frost-free days, Mountain Roots decided to test a future-forward solution for cold climate food production.

We utilize a state-of-the-art hydroponic system housed in four recycled shipping containers. This system allows for a controlled indoor growing environment that optimizes growth with the use of LED lighting, smart watering, and health-boosting nutrients. Our climate-controlled farms are not subject to weather or elements, this allows us to grow rich, fresh, commodities all year round without worry of seasonal influences. From plant to harvest, each seedling is nourished with everything it needs. With the perfect light, airflow, nutrients, and care, our plants grow into beautiful, flavorful, nutritious, and healthy greens. Because of the smart and high yield hydroponic farming practices, harvest happens all year round.  Always fresh, always tasty!
