Mountain Roots provides financial support to enable full time Gunnison Valley residents to participate in learning opportunities that support the Mountain Roots mission.
Tuition Assistance
We offer both need-based and merit-based awards for tuition assistance for established programs, such as the Colorado State University Extension Master Gardener Program, Western State College Extended Studies, and our Youth Summer Camps.
Venture Awards
We will consider applications for financial aid for courses, workshops, training, or professional development outside of Gunnison Valley on a case-by- case basis.
