Outreach for

Healthy Youth

Mountain Roots  ensures that all youth have access  and opportunities to participate in healthy food, gardening, and environmental experiences that promote healthy lifestyles, support academic achievement, build connections with nature, develop personal skills, and offer rewarding community engagement.  We  partner with service organizations to design specific programs that reach at-risk, low-income youth . Youth outreach projects build individual and community self-reliance, foster social justice, promote cultural integration, and  create stewards of the future.
